BRIDGE DESIGN

A structural system which was simple, direct and fun was the adriving force behind this merit award winning design for a bridge in Singapore.

A catenary (or rope bridge) structure is extremely efficient, since all members are in tension, the members material (in this case steel) can be used to its maximum efficiency. This together with the structural systems minimal impact on the environment for the maximum amount of fun!
